Alternate and way-more-accurate name: Self-declared “Grandma SUTIL”

Trudi Webster has fulfilled her current role as Recruitment and Development Coordinator for five years, however, it is not to be understated that she has worked at Cumberland College for a grand total of 23 years!
Despite describing herself as “deficient in the talent area”, Trudi loves sewing, and has been keeping herself occupied lately by making 40+ cloth masks to give to my family and friends, with the current goal of perfecting a scrub cap pattern that will accommodate long hair. Trudi considers time a blessing (a true statement to the type of person Trudi is by the way), and said that if she never needed to sleep, she would “read for pleasure, research my ancestry and eventually settle down and write that novel that’s been dancing around in my head since I was a child”.
It is without a doubt that Trudi is well suited to her role at Cumberland College, and we feel very fortunate to have such a warmhearted individual on our team. She shared that in grade one, a teacher referred to her as a “little chatterbox” and while Trudi knows that this was not expressed with any ill-intent, she likes to think that “doing recruitment presentations and talking to potential students about career choices allows me to channel my chatterbox tendency in a constructive way”. Ultimately, grandma SUTIL leaves us with these final words of wisdom regarding education, and encourages students to “Think of education as building blocks. Start with a good foundation based on something you enjoy/are good at and then build upon that. You just never know where life will take you!”.
