SUTIL Survey and Stats 2019

Survey Says! SUTIL members responded to the following four questions about their opinions of life on the road:

What I look forward to the most while being on the road with SUTIL is:

44.44% Interacting with schools and students… I really do love my job!

25.93% Adventuring across Saskatchewan’s landscape… it’s so easy to take for granted!

18.52% Time spent in the evenings with the travelling SUTIL family… you have to make the most of it when you’re on the road all the time!

11.11% Returning home at the end of a long week… there is NO feeling like your own bed!

The thing I least appreciate about travel in Saskatchewan is:

7.41% The travel. It gets exhausting after a long week across the province!

14.81%Staying at hotels… the novelty gets old REAL quick let me tell you!

33.33% Homesickness… you can’t put a price on missing friends and family

44.44% The food… at the end of a long week, I’m definitely craving a good home cooked meal!

While driving, you’ll most likely find me:

37.04% Listening to music

33.33% Podcasts or audiobooks

11.11% Talking: either with a travel buddy or on the phone

18.52% Simply driving and taking in everything around me

What I appreciate the most while at a SUTIL event would include:

7.41% Coffee. My one and only need!

3.70% Spontaneous goodies! I’m a sucker for a delicious baked good!

3.70% Actively engaged teachers. Hands down.85.19% Students that have a genuine desire to be there and learn.

Even though I am over a half a Century old, I have been inspired by the group to go for higher education. I have applied to the University of Regina and I got accepted. I plan on taking classes there and there and I pray and hope I will be successful to obtain two more degrees before I reach age 55. I want to be a role model for the students, my family, and the community. Before retiring I will tackle Masters.

Happy Friday the 13th of December,

Thank you for The SUTIL Scoop and the SUTIL team visit at Rhoda Hardlotte Keethanow High School in Northern Saskatchewan. I noticed some of the team members were into Volleyball during the noon hour. Maybe that is how the team works; to have fun and to laugh and to warm up before presenting to the students and staff. Great Team! Thank you once again, SUTIL Team.
